"Laura in the Vines"

A very rare 1960s Laura Ashley cotton maxi dress, from the iconic “Laura Ashley. Made in Wales” era. Crafted from 100% purple cotton, this dress features a Victorian-style floral and vine print with the signature artisan quality of 1960s flatbed printing. Designed with a flattering Empire-line fit, it has elasticated shirred midriff,  stunning fluted sleeves with smocking, a high collar, and a long straight skirt. The collar and sleeves are delicately trimmed with white cotton crocheted lace, and a long metal zipper at the back confirms its late 1960s provenance. Complete with the original long white label, this dress is a true collector’s vintage treasure.
